It’s so easy, to get so busy in our everyday lives, that we don’t take the time we should to spend with God.
Spending time with God, and in his Word, enables us to hear what he’s saying to us, so we can be lead by his Holy Spirit, in everything we do.
It also strengthens our faith, to do the things he calls us to do, that we’re not capable of doing in our own strength. This in turn leads us into the destiny that we were created to fulfill in our time here on earth.
Have you ever stopped to think about why you were created, or if there’s a greater purpose for your existence, but you’re not sure what it could be?
The Bible tells us, that there was a book written about each of us, before we ever existed.
How amazing is that? We were all created for a specific time, and for a specific purpose.
Our Scripture for today, is found in Psalm 139:16.
The New King James Version reads like this;
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in your book, they were all written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet, there were none of them.
Now let’s also read it in the Passion Translation.
You saw who you created me to be, before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you’d planned for me, were already recorded in your book.
Now I don’t know about you, but I get excited, just knowing that God created me with a plan, and a purpose, for a specific time on this earth.
So how do we find out what that plan is?
By spending time in the Word, (the Bible), and praying, and seeking Gods heart, for his plans, and the purpose for our life.
A great way to do this, is by starting each day by putting God first, by reading his Word, praying, and seeking his will. This will open our spiritual eyes and ears, so we can sense and discern what he is saying.
So let’s not waste another day, by not pressing in, and pursuing, what he has empowered us to do through him!
Let’s just say a quick prayer…Lord, we just ask that you would empower us to be all that you created us to be.
We ask for your grace, wisdom, and strength, as we seek your will for us. We ask your Holy Spirit to come alongside us, and help us.
We pray this is Jesus name, amen
Thank you for joining me today, have a blessed day, and I’ll see you again soon.
